Virgin Mobile is adding another Samsung Galaxy device to it’s pre-paid
mobile network today, announcing the availability of the Samsung Galaxy
Ring. The new Galaxy device has a 4-inch display,a decent 1.4 GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,4GB storage, microSD card slot, a 1,750mAh battery and runs on Android 4.1
Jelly Bean, and is available for purchase off contract for $179.99,
giving Virgin Mobile customers a more affordable option to the Galaxy S3.You’ll enjoy a 5 megapixel 720p video capable camera on the rear, and 1.3 front for self portraits.
Since Virgin Mobile’s main focus is price, this could be a pretty good seller for people who want a decent smartphone at a low price. Bear in mind though, it only has support for Virgin Mobile’s 3G network.
